I am a retired astronomer, having worked for the United States Naval Observatory in Washington, DC for 42 years. I have a B.A. in Astronomy from Swarthmore College, and did graduate work at 5 universities. My primary interest has always been more philosophical, directed at deep understanding rather than mere abstract representation, which quite naturally evolved into a theological orientation.
