Elaine Padilla

Elaine Padilla is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Religion, Latinx/Latin American Studies. Padilla interweaves current discourse with Christianity, Latin American and Latino/a religious thought, mysticism, ecology, gender, and race. She is the author of Divine Enjoyment: A Theology of Passion and Exuberance (2015) and author or editor of other books. She serves on steering committees at the American Academy of Religion and is a member of the Catholic Theological Society of America.
